1.What we use

AI Private Eye does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses browser storage that is strictly necessary for the features you ask for:

• Local storage to keep your sign-in session and a working copy of your cases on your device.
• Cookies and storage set by our payment provider, Stripe, during checkout, for fraud prevention and to complete payment.
• Session storage to remember scroll position while you move between pages.
• Essential cookies set by our hosting provider for security and load balancing.

2.Consent and your choices

Strictly necessary storage does not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose per category:

• Essential: always on, needed for the service to work.
• Analytics: Google Analytics (Google), which records pages visited and actions such as sign-ups. Off unless you turn it on.
• Marketing: the Google Ads tag (Google), Meta Pixel (Meta) and LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn), which measure whether our adverts lead to sign-ups and may let those platforms show you our adverts. Off unless you turn it on.

3.Changing your mind

Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Non-essential cookies are only set after you agree, and we will update this policy before adding any new kind.

4.Controlling storage

You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking local storage stops you signing in. Clearing it signs you out and resets your cookie choice; your cases stay in your account.
