How we check every dossier
Each investigation is reviewed through four specialist lenses before you see it.
Risk management
Every dossier is reviewed the way a risk manager would: each red flag is weighed by how likely it is and how much harm it could do, and the risk score reflects the combined exposure. Dossiers suggest practical ways to reduce risk, such as staged payments or escrow.
Quality management
For businesses, dossiers note claimed quality credentials such as ISO 9001 or trade-body membership and tell you where to verify them. Credentials that cannot be found are marked unverified, never false.
Quality assurance
Before a dossier is returned, it is self-checked: every finding needs a source, confidence must match the evidence (a single source is rated Low), and the summary must agree with the findings. Findings remain AI-generated leads to verify.
Security review of subjects
Dossiers point to public cyber-hygiene signals you can check, such as known public data breaches, lookalike domains and Cyber Essentials certification. AI Private Eye never tests, scans or probes anyone's systems.
